Big New Jersey Meet (Sandy Hook) April 29th
It's about a 2 hour drive for m, but the area looks really nice, maybe if some of us Exton/Lancaster/Reading guys had a caravan I would be more thne game for this, especially a beautiful weekend...

I read in another thread someone worrying about us getting kicked out. We had a meet there with 120 subaru's the last time, for about 2-4 hours. We all cruised through and out of Sandy Hook. Not one person/ranger/worker/employee said a thing to us. That also was not the first Sandy Hook meet we had.
I live down there so here is some advice:
Do NOT speed on Rte 36 (keep it under 60)! Do NOT even think about running a light, going into one of those temporary lanes that are used for jughandles or tailgaiting. While you may get away with it, law enforcement thrives on harrassing visitors, or "bennies" as they are called down here. If the bridge is up don't get onto the shoulder, unless you have a DL that says you live down here they won't accept any excuse for your being there.
If it looks like it will be a very warm day show up early. The parking lots can and do fill up. There is no admission to the park before Memorial day but I have seen the lot closed at 11:30 on unseasonably warm Sundays. If it is warm the bridge will probably be up a lot so while you may encounter a backup (half mile or so before the bridge) that doesn't necessarily mean the parking lots are full.
It sounds like a lot of fun, I haven't done anything with these meets in years. I haven't even kept up with these boards either....
Cheers

I can't see how you would have a problem....
You could always relocate to the last parking lot if you had to...that's where the nude beach is. Nobody will go near you if you park there.
