There are a bunch of us scheduled for this event and, there will be free rides given in my Z to those yearning to feel the raw power of a 8000rpm mighty VQ; by an SCCA instructer.

This is a fabulous circuit, with high banking turns where you can floor the pedal right into the 3,740 feet straightaway. Feel what it is really like on a super speedway with no speed limit and never a speeding ticket.

Roadsters/convertibles, are permitted on the course with the soft top up. There will also be a 350Z roadster at the meet, with fully equipped race engine.

Looking forward to meet you there.

G

Is this a time trial or just driving school?

There is a professional photographer available; as for video we'll have to make our own arrangements. If I have any $$$$ left over after all the mods., I’ll buy a camcorder if not I see if I can arrange to borrow one.

Neil has 2 video cameras; maybe he could bring both to Pocono.

Not a timed event, more for experience and the option of an instructor should you wish to understand what your car is capable of and getting the most out of it.

SCCA, has time events, but you’ll need roll cage that meets club specs.

I'm debating between this one and one just before this. This course is the 2.5 mile course, the other is the 1.5 mile course.

I got you, I have been to Pocono North and East before, never did the grand course. It does look very simple, I will pass. I did TT without a cage before, I am still alive..

I am giving this one some thought. But, most likely if I do go I will be driving my Miata, unless it breaks during a prior event and I can't get it up and running in time. I did a PDX event at Pocono last year. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks to you I do! I still need to get a video card or find someone with one to transfer last years vid from my HI8 cam to the pc. I bought usb video card thing and quality looks really bad. I really should just a new camera but i cant justify that with Steph.
