Pat's is my favorite. Jim's and Tony Lukes are great also. I used to live right near Abner's in University City. There steaks are pretty decent

Man i miss philly's food. I would seriously kill someone for some Lorenzo's pizza right now

Mmmm, Provelone wit.
I like Pats better than Geno's but Jim's is pretty damn good too. There was a place by where I used to live in Cargo City called Romanos, they had pretty good ones too. used to get blunted up and have one. Mmmmmmmmmm, sucks Im stuck in Djibouti and cant drive up to Philly I just remembered about some good a$$ bread, form Scandone's or something like that. I miss the food of the NE like crazy now!

+1 on Jims! Every time I go out in Philly, I end up at Jims around 2am -- it's a great way to get a girl out of the bar... "Hey, you want to go grab a cheesesteak at Jims?" An hour later...

Pat's and Geno's are the Classics but not always the best, they used to be better. But being raised in Center City Philly all my life I must say im a fan of Jim's Steaks on South Str. But my FAVORITE of all time is Steve's "Prince of Steaks" in Northeast Philly (St. Vincent Str. and Bustleton Ave.) Try it.

I lived in South Philly for awhile and I must say that Geno's still rules!!!!!!! I have tried all the other places mentioned but I still enjoy the atmosphere and taste of Geno's.

Cheesesteak 350Z tour would be ridiculous. It could be CheeZesteak, or Z'steak 2007. Too bad parking would be atrocious.

Honestly, I love cheese steaks, but when I think of the amount of saturated fats in one sandwhich, it turns me off. I think I have to be in cheat mode from my clean diet to do one.

Does sound like a good ZaG cruise one Sunday to South street! But where to park?

+ 1 for Jim's, I think Pats and Genos have both gone down hill over the years!
I know every celebrity and thier brother eats at Pats when they are in Philly but I think I lost the taste for it, Jim's is my new fav the last 5 years.

to me the best ones I've had and have been getting since I was little was at Gaetano's in Willingboro(South Jersey) about 20 min. from philly, then there's a couple in philly but its subjective because some may like the steaks on a corner off of arch street and see those as the best but I think Gaetano's is the best and anyone who's around my way knows that.

Cowboy up and eat some saturated fats.

No way in hell my Z is going into philly. I only did it once when, through some odd quirk of fate, both of my beaters were down. I was nervous the whole time.

I looove cheesesteaks. I got lost through some rough parts of south Philly last fall when I had my NSX. Was coming home from NYC and decided I wanted some Pat's and Geno's. That was a long drive... lol.

I'll be cruising up for the ECZA meet on Apr 21st and I absolutely MUST get some cheesesteaks while I'm up there!

Theft of car and/or wheels, vandalism, etc.

Something tells me you would be singing a different tune if you had the same amount of time, effort and (most of all) money into modding your car as I do. I took pains to make my car as "low key" as possible, but a careful eye would recognize the $$$ potential of parting out my car... wheels, suspension, turbos, exhaust, brakes, etc. and that's just what you can see from the outside (if you are looking).
