I am hoping someone from the Connecticut area might be able to lend a hand...

I am supposed to be meeting someone in New Haven next weekend to sell him a spoiler for his 'Z.' My only problem is that I don't think I have ever been to New Haven, so I don't know a good location to complete a sale like this. Can someone from the area recommend a fairly busy/central plaza or shopping center or something like that where I can have this person meet me? I have searched google and such and can't really get an idea from that... An address would be appreciated as well so I can Maquest it, but if you don't have one, don't worry about it...

Try a police station. I dont live in New haven but i go chill with my boys over there. not too familer with the place but try the PD

 

Ikea parking lot on Sargent drive.. its right off I-91 and I-95... lots of people.. get what you need done really fast and get right back on the highway.. no need for driving through town for hours

 

I like the police station idea, because it's a little extra peace-of-mind, but this idea is probably more convenient. The guy I'm selling to seems like a stand-up, trustworthy guy. I'll run both ideas by him and see what he thinks.

New Haven has been plauged with alot of violent crime lately.. senseless.. stupid violent crime... it doesn't really stop me from going to new haven, but as a person who is not from new haven.. i would advise you to stay as much out of the city of New Haven as possible.. just incase you get lost or end up on the wrong street.

The Police idea i don't really like too much, because it gives the person the impression that you really really don't trust them.. but all in all i say go with your gut feeling.

Thanks, Doug. I appreciate your help. A friend of mine who used to live in that area actually told me the same thing that you did - it's a good spot for something like this: busy parking lot and right near the highway for convenience. I'll give it a shot! Thanks again...
