Default Entertaining the idea of buying an '07

I am doing some research on a '07 Enthusiast w/6mt(with only airbags option). Consumer Reports is quoting a dealer invoice at 28,588, while the dealership paid 28,039.

I would like to have a general idea as to what CT area stealerships are charging for this model.
How much are they generally marking up the price due to demand, etc. etc.

I read the dealership review thread and it seems that Harte nissan was given the thumbs up for service, but those posts were fairly old(2003).

Has anyone been there recently?

I have not seen a single NIssan dealership with a markup on an '07 Z. I checked this at Executive Jeep/Nissan in North Haven (highly recommended) and I know George Harte was marking up, but much earlier in the year (February).

You most certainly should be able to get one below MSRP. I am not sure how big of a deal though, being as it is the summer time. Executive has had a few '07 Zs for quite some time now, you might want to check them out. Last time I was there, roughly three weeks ago (I think) they had several Enthusiast, a Base and a Touring or two. Also several RZ.

I have no experience with Harte Nissan, but I will recommend Executive. My family has bough many cars from them - 2 Jeeps, 1 Maxima, 1 Altima. The only reason I didn't buy my Z there was because they didn't have what I was looking for at the time (used, low miles, stick, etc.)

Hmm, I'll check them out. North Haven is quite a trip for me though.

Just check out dealerships websites...you can go to nissanusa.com and build your Z then search dealerships inventories in your area.

In the meantime here's nissan executives inventory of coupe Z's:

Just ran a quick search for you of the Touring at Executive.

http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/niss....html?action=2

Roughly, $31,500 for Invoice, MSRP is $33,650. You should certainly get that for under $33,000, close to $32,500 if you are good a negotiating and the sales guy is having a good day. "What others are paying" on Edmunds reads $32,800.

Still looking for an enthusiast trim model.

Im thinking of holding off until late summer/early fall. Lesser demand should lower the prices.
