Saturday October 20th or Sunday October 21st. Which ever more people feel would work best for them. The cruise/run would start in Kennett Square between 8:30am and 9:00am to avoid most traffic. It will work its way north about 45 miles ending in Baumstown. The route has many twists and turns. Some elevation changes. Many blind corners and some great scenery. The road transitions from deep wooded areas that go through some small towns then you end up in the rolling twisty farm land. I have driven this route many times myself. As far as the speed and pace of this cruise/run you can go at a pretty good clip for most of the route. As always use your best judgement while in towns. (Obey the speed limit). Once we end up at our destination we will find a place to eat relax and take some pictures. (plus we can stop to take pics along the way) Rt 422 is right in Baumstown. It will run you right back to 76 which will take you to Philly if that is where you are coming from. I was planning on doing the round trip for anyone that is coming from south jersey or deleware. As far as the orignal meeting place near Kennett Sqaure I will announce that a little later in the week when I find the best place to meet.

Yah I was leaning towards sunday also, but it seems there has not been much interest. maybe because its such a tight time frame from my first post till the day it is going on. Would you be interested still if I set it up for the first or 2nd week in nov?

 

SUNDAY is my car club's meet. they might want to go, but they might not.

yeah last night was raining good, I didn't even think about that. my girlfriend usually works doubles on saturdays and goes to work at 10am, but she isn't going in until 4pm so we have time to spend together

I logged on just to see if I missed the cruise.

 

I have faith with the unseasonal weather we have been having that it will hold out for another few weeks. So long its not raining we will be good to go. I will keep ya informed so that you can get with your club.
