Was wondering if anyone in the New England area was planning any events for August. The July 12th event at Limerock is coming up soon but once its over I'd like to have something else to look forward too.

 

Looks like I'm going to miss the CT Limerock meet thanks to work.

I'm going to vote for a meet located somewhere in MA in case anyone is thinking of planning one for August.

The Bob Sharp Z Club holds a nice meet every fall (October I think) at Bob Sharp Nissan in eastern CT. It's an all-Z meet, so you'll see a bunch of very crisp looking 240Z's up to probably a billion 350's this year.

As to anything in August, nothing specific planned yet. That might be a little too soon after the July meet, but if people are up for it, I'm sure it can happen.

 

I looked at the Bob Sharp Z Car Club website and there is no mention of a meet this year. They mention the big convention that will be held in NH. I have a feeling they are not having a meet this year. Do you know about this?

Regarding August, I'd have no problem going anywhere inlcuding MA. Hopefully, somebody will come up with something. I'm still working on the July meet so I haven't had a chance to even think about anything beyond that.

 

I think a meet sometime in the fall located in the Quabbin Resivoir area of Mass would be great. It's central to CT NH VT MA RI Eastern NY. Great twisting roads and super scenery.

Does anyone know how to set up a road ralley? A friend belongs to the local Porsche club and says it is great fun. It doesn't require speed to win. I'd be interested in something like that.
