Ok. I know all you are gonna flame me. But I don't know what I wanna bother wit first for my Z..

I'm selling my k24a1 head (honda motor head) for those who don't know.. It was gonna go on my previous car. (02 civic si). But I obviously don't have it. I'm getting between 250-300 for it.. My car is bone stock. Had it for a month.
I'm debating on getting the car tinted or some jwt dual popchargers.. What you guys think?? Which should I go with. I mean I'm most likly gonna have both. But dunno which I should get first....

I don't have the money for an exhaust

 

Get an exhaust or exhaust component of some sort. My car still isn't tinted, simply because: A) Avoids a ton of cop trouble, and B) I like being seen in it. =)

Also, the intakes may sound nice, but don't benefit the car, at all. In fact, they tend to mess with A/F numbers. Gooey just removed his dual Fujitas and dynoed his car at 280+WHP with a few mods.

 

yeah a) and b) .. are very important..

you could find an exhaust in here for sale from someone else for cheaper than new .. yet slighty broken in .

look in the marketplace classifieds..

 

Yea I'm thinkin of this weekend hittin up some auto part store and gettin k & n drop in filters.. Callin it a day.. I DEF don't have the money for any type of exhaust part.... That's for sure. Tints I'm thinkin now of waitin till summer so I can tint my tails. And my tints are gonna be light. I want the tint look on the windows but not dark where I can't see n cops are chasing me.. I still want people to see me when they go whose driving the Z lol.

 

true . k&n drop in filter or jim wolfe intake used .. look in marketplace..

and maybe get your headlights upgraded =)

Marketplace aint got nothin but gooey's aem/ fujita intakes.. He says aem and everyone else says fujita....

If I get intakes and not drop ins they'll be jim wolf.. But I dunno....

an intakes will make you hard when you get on it. I suggest that first, the noise added-value is worth every penny...even if it gives no horsepower.

IMO start with the Intakes. The stock exhaust is already pretty good...but I would make the exhaust the next thing. Your intakes are only gonna do so much if your exhaust is restrictive. And I quote... "You can only eat as much as you $hit." I'm sure you get the meaning. Next I would go brakes unless you have the stock Brembo because if your gonna go fast, you gotta stop fast too.

 

Nope. I went to a meet where they put on fujita dual intakes and the car actually initailly lost horsepower (they did pulls before and after). I don't know what happened to it after the car relearned. I should ask if he redynoed or not.

My JWT was one of the best mods-per-dollar-spent based soley upon the sound.

 

I agree that intakes don't really do **** unless u plan on puttin in piping and new exhausts.. I really lyk the popchargers.... I dunno....
