I'm new to the area and trying to meet some Z people, where is this meet at? Do I need to be in a club or can I go by myself? How far away is this meeting place from West Point?
Ya i just bought a Z early this month From central mass and i wouldn't mind a meet to hang out and check out some of the members of these forums cars location and date if its sunday and not to much of a hike ill probably make an appearance...
Copper it will probably be in Berlin, central to everyone. Not too far for NY people, not too far for Boston people. The thread to this point has basically been about getting the okay at Sage Park, in Berlin. Its right smack in the middle of the state, halfway for just about everyone.
Will, I talked to Scootch last night, he was wondering what kind of chance we can have to hold this on Sunday?
berlin would be a good place for me, i've driven up there for car meets before, i could caravan with some people if anyone wants to leave from southwest ct.
Will sunday work for people ?...also it will cost approx $200 for everything we need ..minus food....
Will it be an issue to have peeps pitch in ?
I think you should charge an entrance fee. Depending on how many people sign up I would start with a $ 10.00 fee as you would only need 20 people to cover this. If just prior to the meet you have a huge list of attendees you could reduce the fee. The other option is to keep the $ 10.00 fee and if you collect a lot of money you could do a cash prize raffle drawing.
Regarding the food, I don't think people will mind chipping in. I would just make sure that you note what people will bring so that you cover all of the bases. You don't want to have 10 bottles of ketchup and only two packs of hot dogs.
