okay I resieved a few phone calls telling me that tomorrow if weather permits we are going to have everyone out. So whoever wants to come out don't be scared to meet all the old skool people. come out and have some fun n eat some food.

a lot of us old members received calls about a big meeting tomorrow so that we can all talk about the future of our club and hobby.(TSZ33) hopefully old and new members will show up tomorrow and have fun! its at 8pm at the original valley stream spot.

I would respectfully request you stop calling it TSZ, since I own the name and domains...I don't want anything I might do with it in the future to be jeopardized in any way. I'm not posting this to start a pissing match, so please do not take it that way. I just don't want there to be any confusion or association issues.

lol is ats easy as a name change. like u said before you dont want to be invloved so why even bother? i think it bothers you that the club goes on WITHOUT you. respectfully i WONT call it tsz33 as the thread originaly said TSZ. so who ever wants to come out and still enjoy you are WELCOME. With all due respect, you own TSZ33, not TSZ (unless you do own TSZ, also. If so, feel free to put my foot in my mouth ). Theoretically, we could create a forum called TSZ or TriStateZ without stepping over any boundaries. Besides, most of us are a good group of children, so I doubt we'll tarnish the namesake to the point that it's unusable for you in the future.

If you're genuinely concerned about that, then you should also ask people with TSZ33 vinyls on their cars to remove them. Because, if, God forbid, anyone crashes, that's what they're going to see immediately. None of us have MY350Z vinyls, so authorities wouldn't even know that we post on this forum, in the event of an investigation, which means they wouldn't be able to find out that we loosely call our group of Zs TSZ.

Just an observation. Not a pissing match, either. Hope it made sense, I am rather tired.

Edit: It's nice to see both me and Joe didn't go, though. Haha. Next week, if weather's good, I'm coming out.

 

Decals were something people paid for, so that's really a different situation in all honesty. I would just ask that if a new group be established with any sort of formality, forum, etc. , that it just have a name that doesn't lead to confusion with what was previously in existance that's all. I'm sure collectively everyone involved can come up with something else to call it without any fuss. We actually own alot of various tsz related names (I don't even remember them all) all of which were (I think?) designed to point back to the original site - I even don't remember them all but there are alot. Anyway, it's not a huge deal, just a small request that's all.

 

I suppose we could call ourselves NYZs. :P

 

it shouldnt matter what we call it EVEN IF IT IS RELATIVELY CLOSE. if its not NOT COPY WRITTEN BY YOU then you have NO RIGHT to tell us what to call it. tsz zst szt or whaterver. as long as it doesnt say tsz33 or your copy written names it doesnt include you nor u have the right to tell us what we naming the club. oR even how "relatively" close to the tsz33 name it is. u got ur courtesy for us not to keep on saying tsz33 now give us the courtesy to go on with our business. but we still welcome you to the meets with open arms with your NEW pROFOUND "FILTERED" "WEEDED OUT" Tsz33 members.
