I'm just curious to get an idea of how many cars we are going to have meeting up at Fort Totten for the July 12th Lime Rock event? Is anyone driving in from the island?

Tim, a member of G35driver.com with a G35 Coupe wants to come also and is from Long Island and asked me if I knew anyone coming from there. Where in Long Island will you be coming from? I will ask him also and maybe you can meet him somewhere and head up to Fort Totten together.

 

most likely i will be coming from Franklin Square unless i stay at my girlfriends that night then it will be from the West Islip / Bayshore area, let me know where he's coming from and either i can hook up with him or certainly there are others coming from the Island.

 

i wonder if blue fish will drive through queens and bronx or take the ferry at port jeff.

I don't remember where they are posted but it's easy, here ya go:
From Southern State Pkwy, LIE or Grand Central/Northern State Pkwy take the Cross Island Parkway North and get off at Bell Blvd. make a right at the light at the end of the ramp and there is a parking lot on your left, that's where we will meet. If you still are unsure just PM me.

Due to the large number of attendees, we've had to change the location for the morning meet. It will NOT be at Hubbard Park in Meriden.

The new location is:
Park & Ride Lot
Industrial Park Road
Middletown, Connecticut

The parking lot at Hubbard Park in Meriden could only hold about 100 cars and we may top this. This would have created major havoc. This new location will hold up to 250 cars!

This new location is not too far from Meriden so it should not affect the travel time for people coming. Direction is as follows:

From ROUTE 91 NORTH
Take Exit 21 (Route 372 Cromwell/Berlin Exit)
Turn right at light
At next light (Super 8 on left) turn left
The lot will be about 1/4 mile on left just after the McDonald's

From ROUTE 91 SOUTH
Take Exit 21 (Route 372 Cromwell/Berlin Exit)
Go straight past light
The lot will be about 1/4 mile on left just after the McDonald's

I apologize for this last minute change but it was a MUST to ensure a more comfortable atmosphere.

Please spread the word to anyone you may know that is planning to come.

Because we do expect some stragglers to still go to Hubbard Park, we will have someone there to re-direct them to the new location.

Count me in at Ft. Totten. I am right over the GW bridge so this is on the way for me.

 

Sounds great guys remember 7:15 we are meeting and we are leaving at 7:45. I can't wait to see 350Zmatt's car in person!
