Hey guys my friend who has a 240sx just picked up a sr20 to finish off his show car. He asked me to ask you guys if there was any good shop in our area that would do a SR swap. Anything help is great. Thanks guys (hes kinda pissed he got it too late to have it ready for the VF meet)

Great Shop! I would trust those guys with any Nissan. When they did my clutch/flywheel they had about 5 240s there...most of them highly modified. If you call ask for Vince and tell him Christian with the Orange Z recommended them.

I know Wing's Performance in Queens, NY does 2 or 3 SR swaps a week.

They know their stuff and even retain the A/C.

thanks guys....yeah i was trying to get him to go MRC but i didnt know their experience with the SR's...If it is done at a shop its because we wont have time to do it on our own....and by the way he has no a/c, no radio, stripped interior, around 2500lbs and the motor is ready for about 350whp,hoping to have the gt28 by end of summer so 400whp maybe soon....so it will be a fun car and he will be rolling with me to all the area meets, it is a gorgeous car.

A plain GT2860 will only get you 320whp if you have cams, if you're lucky.

 

nice ill pass that info on to him, oh well 320 is still damn nice for a light car. Does this place work on Z's very often?

 

Not as often as 240s but I've seen a few in his shop. He's done a VQ swap into a S14 which is becoming more common so he does understand the engine. He also owns a G35 with a Vortec.

Matt is the only person around that I would let touch my S14 or my Z for that matter. Oh and if you are around on Sunday he'll be drifting at Englishtown for NOPI drift. Might want to check that out too. His S13 is unbelievable.
