Me 2. I just bought a nice travel tool kit from Sears. It has already come in handy. I have sockets, drivers, ect. Seems the Z uses only 10mm, which is nice and convient.

I am most likely going up to Epping this Wednesday with a buddy of mine and his RX-7.

I am tied up this weekend though.

Hopefully theusualsuspect and maybe 03tour6spd if he wants to help can let us know what night might work for them and where they would want to meet. We could get done the springs, spacer, and front bumper. Anyone have a spring compressor or will I have to try to find one to rent for the night?

 

Little late for this week as you guys know i work 3 long *** days so thurs-sat is out of the question... and this week i think im heading to epping on wed...

I do not have a spring compressor (death trap) and i dont really know anyone with one... plan something for early next week may be unless theusualsuspect can help out b4 then... And i cant use my shop one because well its bolted to the wall and my manager just came down hard on some guys for doing side jobs in the shop so i'm not gonna risk him crying to me cause its annoying xD...

Cool, I will see what theususalsuspect is up to for the rest of the week. Last time we used a rented spring compressor from CAP I think it was. Worked fine with the impact gun, but I couldn't imagine trying to use a wrench or socket to tighten it down. He had one that bolts to the wall as well but our luck, he had loaned it out to one of his friends. I have jackstands so we don't need a lift or anything, just a level surface and the right tools.

 

Well you said that its not sitting properly so to adjust that you shouldn't have to take the bolt off just compress the spring and rotate it... unless i am misunderstanding the problem?

You are right that will work to reseat the bottom, but I did want to take everything apart to try to find out where the noise is coming from.

 

So once we hear from UsualSuspect, I think we should set a firm date for next week.

Looks like there is intrest again for the track. I know Ray is heading up tomorrow, anyone else?
