I think just softening the front would be fine. Your not looking to shave tenths off your lap time. I am still running oem dampers on lowering springs, and I have done a few runs. Mine def need replacing now since I feel that they are to soft as they are wearing. Soften the front of yours and youll be fine. The higher spring rate and lower center of gravity would be better then anything oem.
