Hi guys! Alot of you don't know me (seeing that I got my Z just two months ago) however, I wanted to say hi and extend an invite to all of you!

I owned a 2000 Celica GT-S prior to the Z and was a very active member of NewCelica.org. Every year we host a NE meet at Island Beach State Park in Seaside Heights. Well, that time has come around again and I'm planning on taking the trip down. I have come to be good friends with alot of the Newcelica members and met alot of really cool guys/girls from the past meets.

I figured since there are quite alot of guys in the NE area I would invite you all. We have a Caravan coming from NY (alot of NYC guys ride down together) and also a Caravan which I always put together from the Philly/Cherry Hill area.

Since I'm the only one that will be going with a Z I would love to see some more Z/G guys come out! Especially since I haven't had the opportunity to get to any Z/G meets yet!

When: Saturday, July 26th @ 1:00pm

NYC area:
We will be meeting up before heading out to the New Jersey Turnpike.
Where: 7-11 @ Francis Lewis Blvd. off the Long Island Expressway, exit 28 (Make a right on Francis Lewis, 7-11 will be on your lefthand side)
Time: 9:30am
Departure: 10:00am


Pre-meet for NY and NJ:
For those interested in being in the multi caravan to seaside heights, we will be meeting at the Vince Lombardi rest area on the New Jersey Turnpike.
Where: Located between Interchanges 18E/18W and the George Washington Bridge
Departure: 11:00am


PA/NJ Caravan (Original Caravan Thread):
This Caravan always meets at the Moorestown Mall in Moorestown NJ. Departure time will be 11:00am! I will be there by 10 waiting for everyone! If you plan on meeting me there, we can exchange cell numbers in case anything happens, I can wait for you.




I hope to see some of you guys there b/c I think this will make for a great mixed car meet! So far we have almost 40 people coming (obviously not all Celicas) and it would be great to see some of the fellow my350Z guys/girls! If you have any questions, please ask me! I am in contact with the majority of the NYC guys pretty much every day also, so if you need to get ahold of them (about a caravan or whatever), I could provide an email address if you don't want to register on NC.org.



Also, just a reminder... this meet has been going on with alot of the long time members (many who have sold the Celica and moved on, i.e. me haha) and order tries to be kept. Immature behavior (racing/burnouts etc.) will not be tolerated! This is a State Park with kids, families and pets running around! We got kicked out two years ago because of some douchebag with a s/c Celica who thought he could race up and down the strip at the State Park. I'm not kidding, the cops (always alot on patrol) came on the beach and kicked us out. Said if we were affiliated with the Celica meet we had to go. It sucked! Many of us drive hours for this meet and don't want it ruined! We're just asking to please not fuc around once in the park, if you don't think you can handle being mature while there... do us a favor and please don't come.

I visit IBSP about 3294 times every summer.

That's a lie, you got me. But I visit it often, and I always park in Lot 2 because I appreciate the food at the place and the walk to the beach is great. Can we set up the road as a drag strip? I doubt beach patrol would have a problem with it at all.

I like Lot 2, three years ago (I think) we held the meet mainly in Lot 2 and it was quite nice, alot of good pics too! But seriously, try to make it! I swear if I'm the only Z there I'm gonna be pissed! Haha! I need to be able to discuss some actual talk other than sub 200hp 4cyl

IBSP is a great place to enjoy the beach, and the night life you can go to that ******** called Seaside Heights and enjoy good pizza, good drinking, easy women, and Guidos. Guidos are always fun to laugh at, and I'm sure they'll be driving some pretty riced out civics.

But regardless, thats why we always grab a lot and fill it up with cars. It's a nice getaway (hang out, talk about cars) in the park and on the beach... however, I don't spend alot of time on the boardwalk and/or in town because there tend to be alot of (jealous) douchebags.

 

Yeah, we got the park between us and Bamboo (agreed, that place is a ****in **** show) so there's not much to worry about.

LOL i was at Sleaside right up the street from Bamboo all weekend during Memorial Day... Sounds interesting tho i'll try to make it for sure...
