i must say i love them over the oem application, but the install was horrible!! and the guages hit the needles so i had to rip the led panel off the back of the guages. but it wasen't a big deal because the light still comes through red which is what i wanted anyway but for anyone wanteing a different color, it would have been a big deal. let me know what you guys think!!

i also painted the inside of the guages so the orange lettering is gone but it's a little bit much on the red. but i'll take to much red over any orange any day. the center guages are also painted red inside but look a lot better seeing they don't have the piece in front but if any of you wanted to know, Krylon makes a red that matches the redline of the z33 very well. it's called banner red and after a good clearcoat, wetsand, and rub it looked awesome. i'd like some opinions on breaking up some of the red on the center guages if anyone has some. i was thinking of cutting out the bottom of the battery and oil psi so they look like the main guages but then it would look really plain at the bottom of the pod but it's either that or putting a black pin stripe at the top of the 1/2 oval on the 2 guages which could break things up a bit, what do you guys think?

oh and could someone please tell me how the oil psi looks! that was at idle and being completely warmed up. does it look right? that's about the only needle i have ?? on. thanks for everything guys.

kihun - the last time i checked, putting on a ground wire kit is about as much show and a civic upgrade as it gets so you should really keep your bashing under wraps! and if you're going to get an audio upgrade, buy something better than the wal-mart special you have in your z ok!

dozzi94 - honestly, just look at yourself buddy! you paid another 10k for the name nismo and the #0094 to be on your car. you could have saved yourself that $$ if you were a real enthusiast and did it yourself so enough said about you! oh and just a question for you. how the hell could it have been done any better, if i put a nismo vinyl on there somewhere you tool!

roxtarinc - it is a plastic covered overlay over an led panel. your opinion is also respected unlike the others. there's an opinion and then bashing!

and i really don't care what any of you say, it looks 10 fold compared to the ugly azz orange interior lighting/pod setup and if you say any different, you're only lying to yourself. but i'm always open to suggestions and opinions that aren't the same as mine just so you know but if you want to bash someone guys, you picked the wrong one!!! Personally, IMO, I think it looks tacky. You should just buy a Nismo and throw some ground effects on it.

EDIT: I got it. If you threw Nismo somewhere on there, it would be pretty sweet.

honestly though, i can't stand people bashing other people on upgrades and whatnot, it drives me crazy! but i stick up for others in this type of situation also..... the name aint riot for nothing! LOL!

the only reason i did the guages is because i can't stand an orange interior. it reminds me of something from the 70's! please believe me when i tell you, i'm the furthest thing from the ricey/accessory ***** i may seem like from this one but the red looks so much better imo! if you guys care to see the rest of the car, i can arrange that! LOL!

My opinion is that I don't like it. Thats my opinion, just so we're clear.

 

I think if you just painted the center gauges back to the flat black it was it would look 10 times better. Being that there red it stands out more then it should.

Now that's not bashing just my .02. I give you serious credit for ripping those gauges apart.

 

I think it looks good, +1 w/ putting the black back on the center gauges though.

idwin/redbull - i'm already gearing up for the repaint. i was thinking the same thing after i looked at it a few times. i think the speedo looks good but the center console is just to much red.....thanks for the idea though. i'll post again after they're done.
