Hey Vic, you should take the Whitestone Bridge to the Cross Island South get off at Bell Blvd. it's a weird exit ramp with a sharp right then a light, go left at the light you are now on Bell. Take that until you see a sign to get back on to the Cross Island make a left there but don't get on the Cross Island that's the ramp to the right, you want to go under the parkway, it's obvious when you get there. Then continue on to the parking lot on the left where we had the mini-meet. These directions are off the top of my head i'll check it out in person and update anything different because there is quite a bit of construction over there lately.

that would probably be the best option for you guys from CT, we are all going to cruise into the picnic together anyway.

BTW, did you see the preview clip that is on the thread I posted about the DVD from July 12th's meet? The clip is of your burnout. I thought you might enjoy seeing it. I should have the DVD copies ready next week and will post information for those interested in it.

Sorry to hear about that Erich.. i know just how you feel, a couple weeks ago i was in the rain and the back came out from behind and i spun into a guard rail. Right now the car's in the shop but they're working overtime on it to get it done by sunday.. wish you could make it.

Actually, now looking at it this little clip doesn't show the complete burnout, however, you do see and hear the whole thing on the DVD.

Just thought I'd let you know that I went a more economical route on the cases for the DVD's (went to jeweled cases) and Best Buy had a good sell on blank DVD's so I was able to get them for less than from the internet. As a result, the cost of the DVD will go down to $5.00 ea. in person and $7.50 ea. if shipped locally.

Just got this PM; I could meet up with you and pick up the blanks, Friday, if you wish. I am not certain how much you paid for them, but I got a 100 pack from Staples before I left; will have to check the receipt for the price.

I could keep the rest of the staples' imation DVD blanks for my own use, and use the Best Buys' special for the rest of the dup.

I should have at least 20 disk + the original + the 1 you received.

BTW, as I was returning from JFK, right at the Hutchison merge, into the I-90, I spotted a red zee being pulled over by a cop, 7:17 PM.

Poor chap! I wonder if it is anyone from the group?

I have done a virus check on the file and it is clean, however, please check again before you run it. However, still no sound, as the entire file would increase in size; I also limited the number of frames for similar reasons.

FYI - raffle should be taking place around 3pm, each ticket is $2 (this money is used to cover permit fees, misc bbq items and raffle prizes) and you can buy as many tickets as you wish. Any money left over will be raffled.

Gerald, I purchased the Imation DVD's from Best Buy. I purchased 50 of them for $70 plus tax. I'm taking a vacation day today and am going to Springfield to the Basketball Hall of Fame with my son so I won't be around.

Tomorrow, I will be home all day washing and Zainoing my car.
Andrew, is getting tints put on his car in the morning and will be stopping by in the afternoon. You're welcome to come over if interested. This invitation is open to anyone else in Connecticut as well. My wife is going to NJ for the weekend so I'll be able to spend the whole day doing car stuff.
