The worst thing I've seen in the past couple years was a 300zx TT that had the belt tensioner let go during a run...other than that, 1 flat tire and a car that shut off because the ECU wasn't bolted down
-and thats out of hundreds of cars
For those who are interested, please join this forum (since they are the ones sponsoring these events )...Times, dates, updates, ect are all under the "Auto-x/Track events" section
Thanks

Whats the latest head count? Is anyone else comming on this forum who is not signed up on the other one?
Idea: Anyone planning on video taping the runs? If so I think it would be cool to put a compilation up on youtube.

From what I have heard the cost as of now is $125 (per car I am guessing). The more people who come the lower the price.
Here is the link to the site/thread about the autocross http://nemotorsports.10.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=528
Hosmer: I am just going to show up on the 23rd with $125 in cash, who is collecting the fees?
I'm so pumped, I finally going to get to use my car what it was made for

Just wanted to keep this up on the first page since it is comming up this Sunday.
This is my first one of these things. Do we just show up anytime between 10 and 4? Is there anything I have to know other than getting myself and my car there?
Anyone who has done this before, is there anykind of protocol for this?
Thanks

You should show up between 9 and 10am...you've got to sign a couple wavers, fill out the tech sheet, and driver meeting.
1st car should be off at around 10:30
We usually meet in the Providence/Cranston area in the morning (8ish) and head over together as a group. If you want to meetup with us shoot me a PM and I'll let you know when/where....this goes for anyone else who wants to come (I'm leaving from Taunton MA so if someones up this way and wants to follow me down let me know)
For this event you don't *need* a helmet (unless you have a convertible), one is recommended though....next year they will be mandatory
Also, you don't need a number, but they help the guys keeping track of the times so feel free to bring some painters tape
