VERY excited to see these posts because I was looking for a great way to get some 350Z culture in my blood soon. I can guarantee, or as Chase Utley would say, guaran F'in tee, I will be the biggest newbie there if I am able to make it...considering I don't own a 350Z yet....However, that will change this Saturday, 11/15 when I drive up to New York to pick up a 2006 Touring

And another reason why I will be the biggest newbie all-time...I don't know how to drive stick yet haha. Would it be wrong if I asked someone to pick me up at my house...I live like 15 minutes from Williamstown NJ so its not too far, so they could show me how to get my car out of park and into first gear haha??? Any takers??

Unfortunately I have to play the patience game ONCE again with the 350Z...everything was approved and set to go, already mapquested directions and all, then the dealership tried to pull a bunch of shaddy moves (what a shock) such as overcharging me for an extended warranty...only one of the many things they did wrong. Very frustrated but there is a Nissan dealership in Easton PA who I previously visited and they said they could help me find exactly what I want so I will buy from them.

Any thoughts on waiting a little while to get a 2007?? I figure with how horrible this XMAS season is going to be, the financial situation going on, and the 370Z I should be able to get a good deal on one in the spring. Long term goals are upgrading the car with a twin turbo...saw that the 2007 is 80% rebuilt with stronger parts = longer term reliability when adding horsepower to the car ?? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

any of you guys planning to stay a night there? i dont really wana drive back home the same day....since...im 2hrs away LOL. i need to swap the exhaust since umm..its a bit too loud...drones on the highway around 2000-2500 rpm...this sucks!

 

I might stat over but not sure yet depending if my gf wants to. What exhaust do u have that's droning?

I should still be there. You guys are a bunch of pu$$ies crying about putting milage on your cars. I have an 03' Touring and I just turned over 90K miles yesterday. I've been to 3 ZDayZ, and one Z Nationals. Your damn cars are made to be driven. DRIVE THEM! That's like buying a $250K Saleen S7, parking it in your garage, and calling your buddies to come over and 'look' at it. What's the point of owning a car if your not going to drive it.

Sorry, but my biggest pet peeve is hearing people say they don't want to put miles on their cars. The retail value of a 350Z isn't going to go up. Every time they come out with a new model, the old one goes down. (i.e. the 370Z)
