Default My Z is mad at me this morning

So I wake up today and go about my morning as usual.
I stop at my local Dunkin Donuts and get out of the Z.
This is where my Z decides to become a *****.

I press the door lock button on my key fob and the Z starts yelling at me.
She goes Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppppppppp!

So I hit the unlock button and she is still beeping at me.
I go back to the car, put the key in and she shuts up.
I try to lock it again with the key fob and I get the same thing.
So I put the key in to quiet her down, and that is when I notice that the battery light is on, very faintly.
So now I start thinking that there is some sort of short somewhere, maybe from all the rain.
Luckily, the Z still starts and got me to work, but now I have to sit here all day instead of finding out what is wrong.

Today is no fun.

/End rant

Sucks man. I bet its the water from the rain. I'd have that checked out at the dealership. Maybe they can run some diagnostic on it.

Big rain couple of years ago, I splashed through a couple-inch deep puddle driving home. Got home, hit the lock button, and the Z started the long beep, like you described. Turned the key on and back off stopped it, and it never did it again. I'm assuming there's something that isn't properly protected from water. If it stops doing it, I wouldn't worry about it.

Come to think of it, I did hit a puddle last night after getting some Japanese food.
Thanks for letting me know I am not the only one.

Hopefully it will dry out and be all set.

/Fingers crossed
