I have a viper remote start/alarm in my winter car.... Works great everytime. Good distance on the remote, I can turn it on from a 100 yards away!!!

Cost installed was $300 three years ago.

A member here had a remote start in her G (MT) and it started when it was in gear. The end result was NOT good. It can happen lol (I do believe it was installed wrong). Not sure how to bypass though because you have to have your foot on the clutch to start the car, in gear or out.

Remote start would be awesome though -- good for summer to, get the A/C going.
