Default FI installer/tuner in MA area

Well, I need a good installer/tuner for a forced induction setup. I'm not sure which route I'm going yet but I need someone for both routes. I'm debating between Vortech V-3 (which I would install myself and just need tuned) or an APS TT kit which I would have installed and tuned. I am thinking of going to Z1 Motorsports in St. James NY but that is oddly enough exactly 4 hours away from me. I'd like the shop to be a little closer but also have some experience with the G35/350Z. For their experience I would travel the 4 hours but if there is one closer all the better. I know abut Dent Sport Garage and they have a little experience so that is a maybe. Anyone know of any other in the area? Boston, Worcester area that is. Thanks in advance.

I dont think your going to find much in the way of tunners in mass sadly. I wanna say I have heard things about "Ballistic Motorsports" in Southern NH. I also think there are a few shops in CT. I would ping Larry@Showtime. He is a sponsor here and is from CT. He might be able to recommend some shops. I would also speak with JZurita (Has turboed Z - from CT), and maybe Hi-Tech_G (from Boston). Other than that, I am not sure. Hope this helps. If you do find someone, let us know and post up a review!

Scott at Ballistic Motorsports is who I would recomend going to. He does excellent work. I'm pretty sure he can give you a very reasonable price for installation and tune. Tell him Erik with the red/carbon fiber G35 sent you. He is located in Bow, NH which is about 45 minutes from Boston.Heres the website information

You should check out Synaptic 3 Engineering in NH they have a great reputation and work on all kinds of cars. I have seen awesome custom fabrication work that they have done from roll cages and exhaust systems to intercooler setups and complete car builds, really nice shop with a lot of capabilities. I heard somewhere that they also have a state of the art dyno due in sometime in February.

Scott at Ballistics installed my JWT TT's. I would recommend him also. He does custom work and also powder painting there too.

Ballistics can do the JWT KIT ?!?

that was the original kit I wanted! but I thought the nearest place that could install it was way to far so I started to look elsewhere. How are you liking the JWT? 530BB I'm assuming. What you making to the wheels?

Actually my car is the first he's ever installed the jwt kit in. yea i have the 530bb. i'm loving the kit so far. i have about 360hp and 320tq with stock injectors and no tune for now. only thing i didn't like about the kit was that it had a recirculating type of blow off valve but i got a synapse one installled instead.

KTR performance is a very reputable shop in Ayer, MA. Not sure how much experience they have with 350Z but I know they specialize in higher end setups. They had great reputation with Subarus and that was their low end market. I've seen their facility once and it was impressive. Heard nothing but good things about them. Just another option to consider.

Northboro, eh? We have a lot of ppl from the surrounding area. You should try and make it out to a meet sometime this spring. We usually meet weekly/biweekly during the spring/summer in framingham.
