boston wont make it to the finals. especially if the cavs have home court advantage. you guys miss posey and brown way too much and it was exposed last night. dont get me wrong, boston is still the team to beat, but when garnett fouled out, you had to rely on big baby....... 1/7 from the field? and not long enough to bother pau on his shots. the bigger one is the loss of posey. pierce did a great job on ding up kobe down the stretch but he wasted all his energy on D. he missed ft's and a open jumper from the top of the key in OT.

Very true. Cannot disagree with those comments.

Posey is sorely missed, when they let him go I knew it was bad. He did all the little things that won games for them. He could also shoot. PJ was another one that definitely helped take some pressure off of Garnett.

I am not sure about the Cavs. They are so 1 dimensional, a la LeBron.

i noticed this year the lakers score to easy against the celtics inside, but all laker fans still have the monkey on there back, until they actually beat the celtics in the finals, they still have last year in the back of there mind. All it takes if for the celtics to win one game in the finals and let the floodgates open with everyone talking about last year. I really think the winner of homecourt is coming from the east again this year.

Dude, this was a thread about a specific game between 2 teams. That was supposed to be more of a trash talking than a general commentary on the season as a whole.

So if you have nothing to say than some off the cuff comment about the threads that are created here than don't post anything.

there are 30 teams that plays 82 games each.
if there was a thread about a specific game, there would be (30*82)/2 = 1230 threads for every single game between 2 treams. Go figure.

BTW, celtics owned lakers last year.
so far lakers have owned celtics this year.

Well, it does seem like the Celts are still thinking about the loss. If we have Bynum at full strength, it's not even a contest. Oh, btw, the Lakers ended the Cavs home winning streak today.

(If you can't already tell, I hate the Celtics )

lets see. last time we stopped the c's streak they lost 7 of 9. now we end their streak again and now lost 2 in a row at home...... i would be worried about the 2nd unit and lack of size off the bench
