some new paint
i'll try an get some better one's tomorrow if anybody wants.
so i got my hood fixed! looks awesome imo, what do you guys think?

decided to finally paint my handles. i'm not completely sold on the nissan logos, what do you think?

and finally got the time to do the plenum! i just have to polish my timing chain cover and i'll be all set.

not feelin it...
everything looks pretty ricey. i would have either painted the whole hood leaving the vents carbon fiber or at least faded the paint. those nissan door handles look horrible. if you were going to paint them at all, i would have done it body color.

thanks for the feedback guys + & -.
but i didn't want to paint the whole hood because a lot of accents on my car are carbon fiber. i thought the hard line would compliment the vents and wanted to try something new for a fade instead of the same thing you see all the time. trodis and omega will tell you i hate having something everybody else does which is hard to accomplish a lot of the time but i figured i could do something different. if i could of i would have left it alone but to me it looks 10 fold over a cracked hood on a 350z!
jzurita: thanks for the input man i have a lot of respect for your car. but imo the plenum looks a whole lot better than having oxidation looking at you when you open the hood. my long term goal is to get a new one (perhaps the kinetix or something) but with the birth of my son this winter i had ZERO money for any mods LOL! but thanks for your input anyways man.
davidc: i did the handles in black because of tons of other black and cf accents i have and i've seen a z with what i have painted black painted red and i didn't really like it. and i didn't want to paint the whole door handle black because that imo would look boring and no offense to anyone on the forum but that's what everybody does when they paint the handles. but damn you didn't have to call me ricey lmao!

hey... hood is ok, the pictures probably don't do it any justice, the car looks dark red in which i know its not.
Stickers on handle, not so much. Maybe try to get some CF of the window pillar (area between front window and side window)??
engine bay looks fine, just dirty and since its dirty it kinda throws your eye off, with some soap water and amor-all it'll be good, imo

i wasen't sure about vinyls on the handles neither but after everyones input i took them off. my - about them was that it was kinda ricey i just cant stand the HUGE handles.......someone should be shot!
but as far as the plenum vinyl i think it looks great. i know it's not for everyone but that's why we're all different. it would suck if all our cars looked the same lol.
