I could see the rubber mallet method working, but I'd be afraid of the roll coming out uneven. Do you have pics?

I'm still not understanding why you people wont use a baseball bat. The paint ONLY cracks with a fold of the metal. If you just roll to a 45 degree bend, you are good to go. If you fold your inner fender like me, youll crack it like me. I had it at a 45 degree bend and even more but i had serious rubbing so i folded it and it cracked.

The bat method is very hard to control, I wouldn't do it on my z, the tool is so much better and has a much less chance of anything going wrong.. sure the bat works but it is far from a perfect roll
