Alright Guys, its tradition (this would be the 3rd year for the Z G community). I've been doing this show for the last 7 yrs, and i have walked away with a few trophies. Really nice trophies, had a etched glass one one year and a really nice plaque the next.

THIS IS NOT A TUNER ORIENTED SHOW, CLASSIC CAR EVENT, SO LET'S ALL BE RESPECTFUL!

Lar, i think if the weather is just crisp enough and the wind is hittin' your face just right i think Shoppy will come out... god i miss that man

 

He is almost as rare as the infamous "red rod". You only see it once a year....

 

Maybee this year.. if the car gods are with us.. we will see the rod once again..

And if we are really lucky, the red rod will be joined by the G35 catalog with the page turned to a pic of the red G.. that would be smashing!!!

 

May we be so fortunate that the gods shine down on us with those 2 rare sightings in one day.

Last year, there was a good size group of 350Z's that showed up. Someone with a Z on this forum knew the show organizer and got a separate class set-up for Z's. Unfortunately, it was one miserable day with rain and cold. The only group of cars with a considerable turnout that day were the 350Z's. Bunch of diehards when it comes to winning a trophy....

Weather permitting, I'll be there. On a nice day, Fort Adams is probably one of the nicest spots on the East Coast overlooking Newport Harbor and the East Passage.

 

Yeah we were apart of that. Man that was a miserable day

K.. long as my gf is game.. im game.. cant break tredition.

 

wow my girl is makein me go. down the street from the shopping center (Thames st.) then you have (Bellevue Ave) with the mansions leading to Breton Point on Ocean Ave its a nice road to cruise down. You also have cliff walk and all the beaches and all the forts. I lived in Newport for 2 years but moved because to many tourist and traffic. But its still a good place too keep you busy.
