Hahaha, hey hey, now...I said the person had to fix it. As in, physically do the work. :P

But for sure, if we go to Applebees or Fridays after a meet, Mike's food is on me.

So my car got hit today, guys...70 year old man at a Wendy's drive-thru rear-ended me. He hit me going maybe 3-5MPH, but it was a 95 Caddy Deville...with a steel front bumper. The bumper just has scratches and dings/dents on the left corner, but it also has a tiny little crack right by the left turn signal.

The damage isn't bad at all, but I think the crack will make it hard repainting the bumper. I hope all of his info checks out when I call his Geico policy tomorrow.

Admittedly, I feel awful, because he was just in such bad shape. He could barely function, let alone think. He definitely should not have been behind the wheel in his condition. And I just feel bad that I have to penalize him and his insurance policy. I'm still going to go through with it, but I won't feel nice about it.

Yeah, I may have to call a certain someone (let's not mention names) who works at Geico and see if he can help.

Look at the post above. I called and was waiting for a call back.

Anyways, I didn't feel like waiting, so I went and called them back. They called him, but he didn't pick up yesterday. So I told them that he said he's home before 1PM, so they're going to try again tomorrow.

If they cannot get in touch with him for a few times, does he automatically forfeit and I get my claim? How does it work?

No. The cops didn't want to do one for me. They were BSing me telling me there's no issue here and that I don't need a report, because the old man was admitting to fault. I asked them three times, and they kept blowing me off.

But, I watched the video I recorded where the old man admitted to fault, and you can CLEARLY see me walk up to his car, and you can CLEARLY see his license-plate too before he admits it. I drove past his car today (he lives near me), and it hasn't moved since the day he hit me...its still covered with snow and still in the same spot he parked it.

Police didn't want to issue a police report cause the guy admitted it was his fault??? since when is life so simple in NYC?

If that was the case i would say in front the cops its my fault too~ and later just play dumb and pretend I never said so...

Damn Arnold this year hasn't been too good for your Z. Hope everything gets resolved smoother than it seems to be right now.

And judging from the weather we have had for the past several weeks, looks like we won't be able to have a meet until spring...
