North Jersey Z-car Fall Foliage Meet&Cruise

I am organizing a meet and cruise to get everyone into the fall spirit for driving before the cold cold weather starts to come in and our cars go into hibernation. This is being posted on semi-short notice on purpose to not get an overwhelming number of people, although the planning has started a while ago. From responses to other events, the smaller cruises are much more enjoyable for everybody. This is no speed contest, I have a clean license and it is going to stay that way. This is just a nice stress-free drive with a mix of highway and backroads.

It will most likely end at a spot for lunch, but that is currently up in the air. I am speaking to a few people about that, and trying to arrange something.

Details: Saturday, October 17th. 10:00am. Rockaway Townsquare Mall.

Rain Date: Sunday, October 18th, same time and location.

The exact parking lot, along with route length and destination will all be determined closer to the day, and will purely depend on how many people plan on attending. Whether it is 5 cars or 20 cars, it will be a fun day for anybody to hang out with fellow Z enthusiasts.

All Datsun/Nissan Z cars along with G35s are invited to attend.

Added you. Sorry for putting the wrong date in the title! It is the 17th like you said, the 16th is a big day for me so that number has been in my head all night, so without thinking I put 16. Can a mod change that?? I already did so in the thread.

Bump for more lookers. I'd like somewhere between 10-15 cars. Only a couple days up and we're almost there, should be a fun time!

Everybody who plans on attending needs to check back here periodically this week, as details are coming very soon.

 

If everybody who says they "might" come does, then there will be almost 20 cars attending. I updated the list only with the people who said they will be for sure.

As for people asking how long this is going to last, I plan on ending at a place for lunch at around noon, or just before. Actual driving time on the cruise will be about 40 minutes. This is not intended to be an all-day thing, just a fun, laid-back time for Z guys to hang out and go on a group drive before the weather turns for the worse!

Hey guys, I think its pretty obvious at this point, but the event is being cancelled due to weather. My Z is actually under an inch of snow right now in PA, winter seems to come earlier and earlier every year
