East Coast Z Nationals-Carlisle, Pennsylvania

As I was planning my spring events calander it was pointed out to me by a friend that is the same exact weekend as ZdayZ
Why would another event be planned for the exact same weekend as one of the biggest Z/G meets on the east coast? Now I am forced to decide between the two meets and possibly give up the airstrip event if I decide to make the big local meet I would love to support
Just posting to make sure everyone is aware of the conflict in schedules for these two events.

We figure that those from the Tri-State area that did not want to drive all the way down to Zdayz would have another Z event to attend.
This is the first year for the event being hosted by 5 separate Z clubs. It is something that we hope will turn into a yearly event.

Update:
The Z Car Club of New York (ZANY) has officially signed on as a participating club for the East Coast Z Nationals in Carlisle, Pa on May 22-23, 2010. This makes the 6th Z club to join in for the event.
Be sure to make your hotel reservations by April 21, 2010 or the reserved rooms will no longer be available. The hotel is completely booked at this point and the only rooms available are the 50 rooms for the event reserved under the East Coast Z Association.

Just a reminder everyone that hotel reservations have to be made by 4/21. After this date their is no guarantee that rooms will be available. The hotel is completely booked for that weekend without the blocked rooms that we have.

Myself and another member (jtgli) and possibly a few more will be making it for sure. We are going to the airstrip event, spending Friday at ZdayZ and driving back all night to make the show in Carlisle that weekend. Gotta support our local area . Looking forward to meeting some of the North East guys at this event.
If anyone is rolling in from HWY 81, stop off at exit 72A in PA and eat at 5 Boroughs Bagels and Deli, just a 1/2 mile off the exit. I just bought this place and should just be opening the previous weekend

I have a question. I have been to alot of these events but, I have always parked in the general admission "grass". What gate should I go into to park in the "Z" area? Also, about the GTG - since I am not staying at the hotel, am I allowed to attend?

You are more than welcome to attend the get togethers at the hotel. The Hotel Carlisle has a pretty nice lounge and I am trying to work with the hotel staff to have something on Friday and Saturday nights. They have Happy Hours anyway so it should be fun. The lounge has pool tables etc.
Hope to see you there.
