Default Paintball in DC area?

Anyone here play? Just curious. Me and my buddies are going to play the 3rd Sunday of Nov. We are total noobs. But it's always fun when you play with some of the people you know.

Anyone care to join?

Jeff

I never been to AG. But I have been to Pevs a few times. They had bad refing there. Plus the dead zone is not even protected by nets. But I would recommend Hog Back. It's only $10 to play as walk ons. And most of the refs there are my customers.

You have your own gun? I know some people that would be interested... just to make sure, are you talking about Nov 23rd?

I agree... and nobody has replied to my thread regarding a favor I need from a CS owner (which would take all of a few seconds)...

Seems that some of my friends are being bitches and want a private team. Am I correct in assuming that you need 8 people for a private team?

Private team cost $50 per person. Because due to private groups. You will need your own assigned referees and you have to BUY their field paint ball. They make tons of money on Noobies. Which are most of the time, private groups. But you can still have a great time. Just go in the field as walk-ons. With less experienced group. And everybody will have chances.

Yes, if you buy your own paint from like Walmart. It would cost around $40. If you buy the field paint at the place. It would cost around $75. (for 1,000 rounds) Huge difference. And usually 2 people share between that amount.

I simply need a photo of my front plate on the front end of a CS since I got a silly parking ticket in DC for not having a front plate (hit some wildlife a little while ago, bumper cover is damaged). I have no desire to donate any money to the corrupt meter maids of DC...

Well, I'm down for paintball... always a good feeling to come out from behind a tree spraying "bullets"... hehe

Hogback is up near Leesburg as well isn't it? How much is it for rental guns for those individuals who don't have access to personal ones?

I believe rental is $20...

I like it there because they have good officials who regulate rules. Like no shooting of the gun while you are in deadzone and make sure every gun's barrel always pluged when people have their face mask off. Less chance of accidents. And also better fields.

Over at Pev's there's more experienced players, noobie like me get raped. And they don't force the barrel in the guns rule. So it's like wild wild west.

Let's get some people together to go to Hogback.

Last time I was at Pevs was Jan or Feb, and they were very strict about having the barrels capped. Hmmm...

Playing the compound in the winter was interesting (crossing the stream in 30 degree temps with snow on the ground was errrr... invigorating...).

Thats funny.. he got the same ticket in DC as well.. he was PARKED in G-town... and found a ticket on his car when he got back!!

He doesn't have a front plate mounted on his car tho.. so I don't think he can help you there.

mental note: do not drive Z to DC

I live in DC (car is normally parked in my parking garage), but got the ticket up on Upton St. near Wisconsin Ave.... crappy thing is that the ticket cost me half of what I earned from the event I worked up there...
