Default Z pricing - help !!!

I've posted this question before and did not get any good leads so I am asking again. What is the best price under MSRP that people have gotten in the Metro DC/MD/VA area ? I am trying to buy a new Z (convertible preferred) by Christmas but does not want to pay MSRP for it - who would !!! Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.................

In my area a Base Model goes as follows:

Base Price
$26,370 MSRP
$24,663 INVOICE
Destination
$540 (SAME)
$540
Options
$0
$0
Total Price
$26,910 MSRP
$25,203 INVOICE

I'm not seeing Manufacturer to Dealer incentives on Z's other than reduced financing rates if and only if you finance through NMC.

For the no-top, you choose Enthusiast vs, Touring, here's a Touring Convertible:

_ MSRP1 Invoice2
Base Price
$36,220
$33,498
Destination
$540
$540
Options
$0
$0
Total Price
$36,760
$34,038

IMHO a good target to shoot for would be no more than $1000 over invoice on the Roadster, $500 on the Base.

Use your Quarter-end, Year-end leverage, and if they don't want to deal, well, when was the last time you walked into a dealer in January to cut a deal on a Sports Car?

Q1 su*ks big time for Car sales of new 2004's in general. That's when the very few 2003's fly out at just above true cost (invoice minus hold-backs, etc.)

A good source for quotes is also :

BTW, options I highly recommend:
1) "aero" kit - its not just the spoiler+wing, you have the underbody zero-lift pieces, too - a bargain at $200
2) Al kick panels - they should be stock
3) DO NOT get the BOSE system if you can avoid it!!!
4) cargo area mat - consider cargo area net, too.
5) Check out your tire options when choosing wheel size - 17" have very limited aftermarket tire selection due to the size combo Nissan spec'd
