Unhappy Get well Spydr

Just wanted to let everyone know the reason Spydr (Rick) was unable to make it to the CT dyno day. Unfortunately he was in the hospital for yet to be determined medical reasons. Rick was supposed to bring me down with him so I could see for myself the power of the Z.

Oh my God. Do you know if he's OK? Is he back home?

I was worried about this because he had emailed me a few times to tell me he was definitely coming and he even had called XXTuning and put a deposit down for his dyno session.

I hope he's OK. Keep me posted if you hear anything. I'm going to try to communicate with him as well.

Victor,
I went to see him Saturday and he was in good spirits. We were joking around about maybe his car had no power and had to come up with an excuse not to go. Hopefully, he will be home tomorrow and be back to posting.

Default Get well soon

Sorry to hear about Rick, as I was looking forward to meet with him.

I trust that all's well with Rick; I can personally relate to how it feels to be laughing & joking one day and the next to find yourself in ICU.

Rick, I trust that I can look forward to our planned meeting soon.

Best
Gerald

Thanks for the post Matt. We were waiting for him at the Mass Pike Rest Stop and we just figured he didn't want to be slowed down with a bunch of "regular" NA Zs

A lot of people would really appreciate any updates you could provide and please give him our wishes for a speedy recovery! Thanks again!

Thumbs up Update

Guys, Rick is home. Spoke to him this morning and he is doing better.

I'm actually surprised he hasn't posted himself. I'll tell him everyone is concerned and looks forward to his return to the board.

Default I'm Back

Thanks everyone for your concern, I ended up in the hospital because of a possible heart problem. Had severe chest pains, was given nitroglycerin and the pain went away so the Dr. was concerned and admitted me for 4 days of testing. I go to see her tomorrow to discuss the results and plan from there. Sorry to have missed Dyno day, seems you all had a great time. I may have to go down by myself once I'm 100%

Glad to hear your well enough to go home. Hope its nothing serious and you get a clean bill of health from the DR.

Good to know you're fine, Rick.

Nitroglycerin takes the pain away but gives me a fat migrain; sometimes I wonder which pain I prefer.

Hope to see you completely back on your feet, pronto.

Best

Rick, good to hear from you. Hope everything goes well tomorrow. Give me a call.

If you feel better, Jeff is going to XXTuning this Saturday to get his Tein's installed and I'll probably goes as well to get some clear film put on that they promised me. Obviously, your health comes first but if you feel OK and want to come down I'm sure they'll tune your car for the same price they were offering on Saturday. As a matter of fact, after they tuned the first car they moved pretty fast with the others.

Good luck tomorrow and look forward to hearing from you.

Rick, Glad to hear you are home. Hope your test results come out well. It would be great to see you this Saturday if you feel up to it of course. Your health is more important than tuning your procharger.

Hey Victor, the one good thing about my incident is that at least I get the bumper and hood painted!

Might think about the clear bra this time around.

4 days of testing? No angio I hope.

Hey Andrew if you're around this Saturday, AndyB is going to have XXTuning install the clearbra on his bumper. On Saturday they installed it on his hood, side mirrors and headlights.

I might do the hood, headlight and side mirrors as well.

Also, Jeff will be having them install the Tein coilovers. On Saturday they installed the Cusco bars.

You probably won't have your Z with you but if you're available you may want to see how the clear film they install comes out.

We were hoping that Rick would have come down to xxtuning today. It would have been nice to see him but he knows best as to how he feels. Rick, there will be plenty of time to get things done on the car so don't rush things.

Andrew, I was hanging around with Andy, Vic and Jeff at xxtuning and decided to get my hood done with the clear bra. Danny did it and it came out really nice.

Jeff also had them rip off the old one he had installed by another company and it was stuck down so the team at xxtuning had to clean up the gooey residue that was left.

Andy's bumper came out nice. It is full coverage right into the side markers. I need to get some of the chips fixed on my bumper before I cover it so I will most likely get it done in the spring. Let us know when your car comes out of the shop.
