Default UpRev Tune

I did some research and found a pretty sweet shop Kaizen in Acton, MA. They have done a lot of work with quite a few GTR and a lot Z so they are very familiar with our VQ motors. Also a lot of other high end models.

They are not UpRev certified right now but they are speaking with UpRev already.

Perfect timing for us as I'm currently speaking directly with the owner and trying to get a deal worked out for a group tune/dyno/meet. They did a group thing for the Cobb when they first got it. So we can be the first for UpRev! Obviously the more that signs up the better prices we get. By the way this will be when the weather gets better. I will set a date later.

I made a thread in the G35/G37forums as well. This is open to all G, Z VQ motors.

If your interested...add your name =)

I know DSG. But I figured since they about to be uprev dealers they will give us good pricing.

And also seems like they done more work with our motors than DSG has.

If you dont mind, how much was your uprev tune?

Mine was not a true dyno tune.. I went to another garage who does cobb. They thought they could tune with the uprev cable I purchased. Basically they F'ed it up. I redynoed at another shop and had downloaded a tune(rom) that Vince from R/t tuning had sent given my predicament.

BTW Dsg has tuned quite a few VQ's. I forget their pricing though.

Synaptic 3 is an official Uprev tuner with a Mustang dyno. They are located in Candia NH, so while it may be further of a drive, you do not have to wait for them to get a dyno, or become an Uprev dealer and you get top notch service.

http://www.synaptic3.com/ Tell them Matt with the blacked out Z recommended you.

The guy who tunes for them did my car last summer, and has done tons of high end high horsepower cars. He himself has a very nice high horsepower supra.

Kaizen does not have any dyno of any kind, and not really much space for one in their small shop.
