Hey Nizmo, dont worry no offense taken. Chang was actually on the fence about trading his car in...he came down we installed the exhaust and his car was clean. We gave him alot of options he wasnt aware of, and in the end we ended up keeping a Z driver on the road

Thanks for all the compliments guys

Here is another vote for R/T. I've dealt with Vince and Eric at the shop. Both have been very helpful. I got my Osiris Tune and dyno for my Z with them. They also did some suspension work and brakes on my Acura TL. They have excellent customer service and follow up with you after the fact to make sure you are happy with the work. Def sticking with them even though its a 70 mile ride for me from Northern NJ.

It's nice to hear from the people over at RT Tuning besides FB posts lol. Glad you're doing well with the Nissan community. I can vouch for RT Tuning. In previous years they have dyno tuned my drift S13 and done major suspension work, tire installation and alignment on it. I have also ordered from their website for my G35 maintenance items recently. Nothing but good guys and good experiences. I wish I had more time (and money) to devote to motorsports again, but sometimes I fire up the racecar every now and then and scare the sh** outta myself on the street for a few minutes lol ~Rudy

Hey,

As Alex has said, our shop was going through a complete revamp a while back so things were very hectic for a moment. Everything is now back on track and we're running full speed like a well oiled machine now. I am on here now to monitor the forums and answer all questions as soon as I can. And If you ask around, I have been getting back to PM's within 30-45 mins of being sent, sometimes immediately if I am at my desk. So if you need anything, PM me and I can notify Alex ASAP as he doesnt really check the forums as frequent as I do.

About yesterday, Our apologies. We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Our business hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9a.m. to 6p.m.

Again, sorry about any issues regarding contacts, but I assure you, aside from us being closed, we are VERY speedy in returning messages. I even reply to PM's late at night in some cases if I'm logged into the forums on my Macbook.

@R/T Tuning. Really sorry to be in your thread and go somewhat off topic.

Lakeside, Just PM me in the future, I do not want to hi-jack this thread by any means.

R/T FTW! Everyone at the shop is helpful and takes time to explain everything. When I got my car tuned I had a million and one questions and Vince answered every one of them. Looking forward to going back soon!

I'm glad to see this overly positive thread about R/T. I'm waiting for Vince to get back to me regarding having some new brakes put on my car, and I'm hoping to have them do some coilovers for me by the end of the summer. It's nice having a competent shop nearby.

Hey Vince, are you still fully supporting CL events? I gotta visit that sight again, get motivated and hit up etown. I was looking at my old spare tires sitting at the parent's garage earlier and they have tons of dust lol.

We still come out occasionally. We were able to get a tire machine for the track so now its free to do tires. I personally don't make it out as much as I would like but thats what happens when ya have kids and ya knock the wifey up twice...

My last trip I am still fixing some of their install issues. Monday I have to get my car up on the lift to fix a Samco hose kit install gone wrong. They cut corners installing the bottom radiator hose. Probably didn't remove the plastic aero panel to properly install and seat the hose. The clamp is all crooked and leaking. Has been leaking since I picked it up from them. I went through 2+ gallons of coolant in 3 kmi. Lets just say I am not to happy with them!..

I also have some gear noise from their Quaife & 4.08 gears they installed. I will dump the fluid and have the lashing checked. It seems to be getting louder on deceleration. All with around 3 kmi or less since they did the work.

I would be interested in giving RT a chance. It's hard to find a shop that does things correctly! I thought performance was that shop but I have heard issues from other friends. If they weren't 4 hrs away I would return the car to them to fix it on their dollar and not mine....! It's always better to do your own work if you can. I may need to just start renting lifts. At least when I do a job, I am meticulous..

+^1 I certainly can relate to what is said on here. Personally Performance Motorsport doesn't exhibit great customer service nor do they care to take blame for their mishaps, they are quick to place the blame someplace else. Andrew is a decent tuner and sadly the best one at the site, his DAD is a horrible tuner (Don't let him touch your whip at all). They expect to make money but they don't deliver on their services. Example, I'd purchased the $700.00 Uprev Tune and was never provided with a Cipher Cable as according to the UPREV Site. I even inquired about it and they continued to fast talk their way out of delivering the goods to the consumer (ME). Performance MotoSports needs to be more honest with their customers and should employ people who can REALLY TUNE CARS. Customers say that Vince is the man to have TUNE your Car if you wan't it to run properly. And for that I'm going to follow the yellow brick road down to PA > R/T Tuning.

^ agree with what was said above, and also with Lakeside.

What was supposed to be a $700.00 tune for my TT HR came up to $1400.00 and me waiting a week with several trips from Queens, NY to their shop in Long Island. They claimed they couldn't tune my 800cc injectors, and sold me 440cc injectors plus the labor to install it.

Customer service is horrible, and Alex never gives you a direct answer, just a run around story. I also never received my cable for my upRev tune, nor did my friend, who else got tuned there as well.

The tune sucked as well, my check engine light comes on with an error code that says my car is running rich. I would never recommend Performance Motorsports to anybody.

I need to get my car retuned, and most likely it'll be at R/T Tuning.

If you are going FI in the upcoming months, then you don't need to waste your money now on a n/a tune and save it until you go FI.

That's a little dissappointing. The only reason I'm switching from a UTEC to Uprev is to get rid of the check engine lights.

Have you guys inquired why you aren't being provided the cable? I mean afterall you paid for it...I don't know what the hell I'd do it, but I think if paid for something and did not receive it I would be ticked off too.

Alex/Anthony you guys have any input regarding their cable?
