Unless your car is being worked on at VTR or you're physically here at the shop you wouldn't know what's going on inside on a day to day basis. What better way to see what's going inside VTR then daily updates with pictures and videos.

I will make it a point to update this thread on a daily basis to give the z community the inside scoop. Whether it be a Nissan, Infiniti, Toyota or Subaru, you'll be able to see the quality of work we provide to every one of our customers.

What better way to start the thread then with a GTR and a Supra. We just finished up the tune on both of these cars today and very pleased with the results. We installed an AAM midpipe and that's it. Vinny did a custom pro tune with the cobb accessport and we were able to make 528whp/526wtq.

The Supra is a 98, originally NA, has a boost logic single turbo kit. It came to us a mess, the car died at idle and wouldn't drive. We cleaned up the wiring and the IC pipes and tuned the car which already had a split second box. Watch the video to see the results.

Even though it was this past weekend, Rocky just finished up the video from Englishtown for Spring Nationals. We had a great weekend taking 1st with consecutive 9.5 second passes on a MT radial while everyone else was on slicks. This car has come a long way and all the hard work has paid off.

We've had a busy week so far over here at VTR. From tuning, bolt ons and tuning, we are non stop, not complaining!

Just finished up a Stage 2 Evolution head with full Ferrea valvetrain.




Vinny making a race map on a road racing Miata with Hydra Ems.


Steve is bolting in our plate for the T400 tranny conversion in a customers car.


If anyone is interested in checking out our blue 350z that just went 9.5, Rocky will be at the TSZ meet tonight.

 

Just finished up another 350z with a Momentum single turbo kit and headerback exhaust. At 9psi, car made 420rwhp... the car just wanted to keep making more power.

Today we have a 2010 GTR with 1,300 miles on it. Customer previously owned a 2009 S5 and wanted something with a little more pep in it. Wasting no time, we ordered up an AAM midpipe, Meisterschaft axle-back and a Cobb Accessport with which we are doing a custom protune on. Anxious to see what the car makes.

We also just finished up a 2008 M5 with powder coated rims, eibach lowering springs, tinted tail lights and painted fender grills. Car came out immaculate.



There are a few more customer cars that we have been working on that will be finished this weekend, so I will have more pictures and updates to follow.

 

Just finished up the custom tune on the 2010 GTR. With only a catback the car made 446whp, cobb stage 2 map made 489whp and our custom tune netted more then 70 horsepower/torque over the Cobb Stage 2 map. VTR YOUR GTR!

 

100hp with exhaust and tune wow. if only my car was like that. Keep up the good work

We have been very busy this past week. Finishing up a stage 1 motor build on a 04 sentra, tuning a is300 with a single turbo and building a map from scratch with the uprev software on a stillen supercharged 370z.

Today we just received our shipment of a tire machine/balancer and 2 more lifts.





Also, we had a customer drive up from Virgina to drop his car off after purchasing a single momentum turbo kit from us.

 

That blue z ran a 9.5? Thats crazy...do you guys do alot of nitrous tuning at Vinny Ten?
