I'm glad I pulled the boat & skis out. The water levels on the lake rose over the concrete retainer wall, over the grass landing and on up the stairs that lead to the upper deck. The water rose so much that it crested over the ladder on the concrete wall. The dock mounts to the wall with rods & pins. Most of the dock ramp is under water. I have never seen the water this high. This is a Dam controlled lake. The run off looks like raging rapids washing out the roads and ditches.

Over 9" of rain so far in that area. I hate to see the other lake house which has no water level control/no outlet.. :O Ughhh That dock will be down lake some place. Busy day tomorrow.

Seriously? I grew up in Roxbury nearby. My family is still there and when I spoke to them at 9am they said the wind wasn't bad just a bit of rain. Wow I can't believe Gilboa overflowed.

They have had 12+ inches of rain in Windham/Hunter. There is footage of the water hitting the rail car bridge and looking like a geyser!!! Water flowing over the hoods and roofs of cars. Bad, very bad.. Roads washed out/chucks missing. Holes 6-10ft deep in the road. Large enough to swallow cars up.

Really?? I heard EB lost power in a lot of spots. Route 18 is pretty flooded. I'm off of Easton, and parts of Easton are shut down b/c of flooding.

My car was safely tucked in my garage. No electricity though..there goes all my 90% lean ground turkey....

There are towns upstate NY that literally got wiped away. Water COVERING rooftops. Rt 23, 30 and 28 all closed. No way in or out of Delaware County.

My family managed to reach out to me. All of them are safe. One of our neighbors wasn't so lucky.....

Everything is closed!!! I-88 is closed till at least 6pm on Tues I heard. The thruway east & west is closed between exits 25-28 that I know of. RT 5 & 5A which you would use as a detour in that area is closed. RT 2 is closed. Not sure if the Thruway north & south opened yet. Many local roads/bridges in Albany, Schenectady, Greene, Schoharie, Deleware & Dutchess Counties are closed.... The Mohawk & Hudson rivers are still expected to crest! Schenectady stockade is currently flooding.

Parts of Vermont have experienced the same. Footage of bridges being swept away.

National Grid transfer/sub station plant in Amsterdam is under water. I think we got hit much harder inland then coastal area's.... Some people were washed away in the waters and died. RIP

Are any roadways into Delaware county open yet that you know about? Specifically anything that could get into rt-30?

RT 30 is out.. I-88 is out. Delaware county & schoharie country are a mess. Governor flew over the area today.. 5 Choppers flew inline over the areas today. I went upto East Berne & Berne today. Some bridges out, road shoulders gone and marked with cones, some mud and dirt on the road surfaces.

There was a serious scare today!!! They shut down the Twin bridges on I-87 north and south today as well as the Crescent bridge which is RT 9 due to a massive Barge/crane braking loose and flowing towards the bridges.. If it weren't for the sandbar they got stuck on, the bridges most likely would have been struck by the crane and still be shut down... Traffic was a mess...! I got stuck in it.

They are watching lock 7 closely! In fear that it will give out... They lost Lock 11 on the Mohawk river already sending water barreling through. Some Dams have given out as well.

Damages are said to be in the Billions of dollars......
