man I'm SO SO close to finding another gym. For the money I pay ($50/month), I expect machines to be in good working condition. It's a mission hopping on the first cardio machine after my workout and expecting it to work - they usually wobble or squeak like hell. Instead the gym uses the money on cosmetic improvements. I'm willing to bet that a good 20% of the machines at this gym need maintenance.
And then there's the issue with the fire alarms going off once a month. Tonight I was in the middle of my workout and the alarms went off so the gym was evacuated. I changed and left. Just as I was about to pull out of the lot I saw people going back in because the gym was letting them. I just find that I'm being inconvenienced by this place a lot lately..
Going to talk to Patrick soon. If he can't do anything then I'm done with the gym. Been going there since 06, so they should cut me a break.
