It looks like it's gonna take some time before anybody will be able to look at cars 'outside' during this frigid weather. This frozen tundra will KILL anything. When the warmer weather approaches, getting some LI Z owners together would be great. It's always interesting to see and hear what others have done with their vehicles.

btw: How are you managing to keep those fabulous new wheels clean with all of the ugly SAND & SALT being thrown about?

yo just wondering if you guys wanna have a biiiiig meet this spring...us Z guys,maybe Z chicks,we'll get people from different forums of different cars and all have a giant meet. I think it would be crazy havin 100+ cars all meet up,prolly be some kind of record. i dunno just an idea.

Large Z and G meet would be great, Tri-County is always a big place to chill, or one of the malls.. only prob is the cops don't like people loittering... Hmmm anyone have any sort of experiance in setting something like this up? do you need to clear it with the property owner, or the cops?

 

i talked to my boy wit the wrx and hes down...we both usually meet up with all our buddys at gillians in farmingdale,all the way in the back. no1 gave us **** about it. But with massive amounts of cars...either they will,or wont even bother. This is my goal... get mad cars,chill for an hour or so,meet everyone,then take to the streets and as frankmusic said get on the news. all we gotta do is set a date,and also maybe a rain date just incase?

First post, hopefully i'll be ordering my Z in 2 months.
I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but since you guys mentioned Jillian's in Farmingdale, there is going to be a big meet there on Superbowl Sunday (February 1st, around noon time).

Its being organized as a fundraiser for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
This will be our 7th year straight, but first at Jillian's. Previous years were held at either Jones Beach parking field 5 or Wantagh Park. Last year at Wantagh Park we had 180 cars (mostly VW's, Audi's, and Subarus), and raised over $3000.

We were forced to move from our last location because they wouldn't grant us a permit, so our new site is Jillians.

The meet is now open to all makes, (a couple of yrs ago, a couple of Ferrari club guys showed up, and took the NYS Trooper that was assigned to the event for a high speed run down Ocean Pkway in a F360).
