word is that there may be a little meet and greet at or near Republic Airport tonight (friday jan 2nd), i know about 30 cars where over there last night, but i missed all the action... It would be great to meet up at some point, but I think this may be more of a summer time event, as alot of people have cars in storage, and warmer weather is a little more conducive with standing around looking at cars .. but we shall see

I'd probably opt out of the drag strip in the Hamptons...its WAY too much money, the people are not friendly at all, and you get better pavement racing on Jericho Turnpike....I've given them WAY too much $ over the years, so I know better now.

 

adam - you are talking about LI motorsports right? I wish I knew where to race on Jericho turnpike. I'd be buzzing up and down all night long

 

I'm down. I live in Amityville and would love to meet up with some LI Z enthusiasts. They haven't been that easy to come by so far. I missed all the Z meets in the summer waiting for delivery of mine. :-(

 

Hey I see you have a 91 300ZX TT. Those are very rare. The last time Ive seen a 300TT was several months ago. How fast does it run?

 

It's stock and currently off the road, as Amity Nissan created a problem they won't admit to...it will cost me $4500 to fix. I brought it in for a timing belt and water pump replacement and got it back with a major hidden oil leak that spurts all over the engine while driving, causing it to smoke. I love that car and will hopefully get the money to fix it up soon. When the turbos kick in, you just feel the speed. I like that one more than the 350 by far. It's just more of a sports car look and feel, although there were a few improvements...

 

I raced a silver 350z and his buddys g35 a little while ago, If thats any of you. On hemp turnpyke in levittown/east meadow.

I drive a sebring silver s2000 with borla exhaust... If anyone wants to chill with me, Its damn boring around here.

aghost that was me, and my buddy pete, hes got the blue G35c.. i agree its boring aroud here, and this cold weather isn't helping this week.. hopefully it'll warm back up soon, get more cars out on the road.
