Whats up guys,
Last night I decided to take my car to the first meet of the season for me at least. I use to frequent Edgewater Commons Meet back in the days, i heard rumors of cops cracking down on the meet and kicking everybody out but that usually happens when people get out of control. Or when it reaches 12:00am and the lot is still full. As soon as i pull into the parking lot 3 police officers pulled me over, along side a g37, and a satin black BMW 335i. Cop comes up to my car, ask for license and registration. To make a long story short, I was told to "get out of my piece of **** car", and park it until someone else comes pick it up, or its towed. Also received an exhaust ticket, no front license plate ( i just got my bumper painted and waiting for plate mount to arrive), driving with a suspended license (because of a surcharge I had no idea i had!). The g37 guy was arrested, and the BMW guy got an exhaust ticket also.
As I sat next to my car waiting for my friend to arrive to pick up my car I noticed how many people were getting pulled over. Brand new Porches, VW, more BMW, they even pulled over my friends 2011 Audi a4 completely bone stock! Pretty much the reason why I am posting this up is just to advice you guys not to go to this meet. Even if you go in a modded car, or a completely stock one. Cops are getting really strict and serious about not allowing anybody in the lot for a meet or car show whatever you want to call it.

 

I didn't get a ticket!! LOL. I got tint on my windows, but it's good to have out of state Oklahoma plates. Nice to meet you out there!!!

 

sucks to hear bro. i stopped going to this years ago. i was supposed to meet up last night with you guys in my beater but good thing i didn't.

Ever since that Civic ran over someone trying to do a burnout in the lot
I stopped going that place is too hot.
I can't believe people still trying to go there and think they are not going to get f8cked with by police

 

dam bro that sucks to hear, last week it wasnt that bad there were hundreds of cars and cops didnt start kicking people out till midnight. i was on my way there this thursday at like 10:00 when my friend that was already there told me cops already started kicking people out and **** so i just turned around and went back home

 

I went, probably won't go again. There was a cop on the roof of borders telling them who to **** with

 

I was in there without issues... Maybe they dont bug out of state tags...

 

I remember one night last fall/summer there were tons of tuners being stopped in edgewater commons. Anybody who didn't look/sound stock was being ticketed or turned away.
