Uprev and PA200 code

Uprev and PA200 code
I put this in the local forums because this is a question unique to NY inspections. I don't know if the Tuning section would have more Uprev gods available to answer the question but I figure us New Yorkers are smart as fawk anyway
I have "a friend" that owns a Z without cats because of SG Motorsports longtubes. He has Uprev and can disable the PA200 code. However, a little birdie told him that if he disables the code then the ECU will never show a true "ready" when doing inspection. I was told that many states allow a certain amount of "not ready" parameters but that NY does not allow ANY.
He tried the non-fouler with steel wool and it actually worked for over a year but now for unknown reasons, it no longer works.
Using Uprev, has any NYer "heard" of "friends" that managed to pass inspection simply by disabling the PA200 code?

I have "a friend" that enabled his codes (p2a00, p2a03, random misfire, etc.) just before he went into inspection had all systems ready and passed inspection in NJ no problem. Check to make sure all your codes are enabled because he couldn't get them it to pass until he realized a few were disabled that the tuner did not tell him about. Your friend will pass, but not with codes disabled.

I run PPE Long tubes and before that DC headers with test pipes on a single exit. Anyway the guy that did my inspection said it was one of the cleanest cars he's seen. In short tell your "friend" to call the shop and make an appointment for a tune
