First I'd like to thank Vic & another person(s) for getting me back into my350z.com family.
I will be much more careful & understanding with future posting. However I'll always be me
Now I'd like to tell(for those that are interested) what I have been up to.
I lost my car last year to flooding from a mishandled reservoir. Car was totaled but I couldn't let go so I bought it before it went to the auction. After a long re-wiring process & a recent practice run I decided I decided to attend the Nissan Infinity Shootout @ Atco N.J.
It was a good day. I saw more Nissans on that Sunday than in all previous track days combined. Everyone was very friendly & smiles were seen on all.
RAD & VINNIE TEN were the big players there and a good time was had by all. I think most shops are closed today(Monday) so I think you'll hear much more in a day or two.
I'll just say a little on how I did & my future plans.
I was entered in the Infinity35&37/Niss 350z & 370z non turbo class. I believe that was the largest/popular class. I was the #1 qualifier so I had the luxury of talking with car guys & taking in the scene. After several parings/races, I won the final against an 08 Nismo. My winning time was
r/t .092
1.735 60'
12.777@107.38 mph
I'm hoping to get back to 12.5's before season ends. Next spring I'll try going under 12.5's.
I love cars & drag racing. Always welcome car talk & happy to help out. Of course my advice/help will be limited to my experience & knowledge only.
Nice to be back,
Andre
Oh, I picked up an unmolested 95 240sx se. A car that I also like.

whats up andre, I believe I saw you run if im not mistaken while I was waiting for my class. didnt get to see your car in detail, but seemed like a full drag setup with what looked like a gutted interior? your times were awesome and I was truely impressed with your NA times. was not expecting to see an NA 350z running sub 13's haha. congrats on winning, and good luck on your plans on dropping your times even further!

You should have taken a better look & talked to me. Rad, Vinnie 10 & many more shops & racers know/checked & worked on my car. My car is mostly stock. I hold the 12.5@110 mile record with stock intakes, mid pipe & mufflers. The reason it looked to you that way was because I can't fit 4 tires & wheels without removing pass seat. Nothing else was done. The reason for it being that loud was because the car was in a flood & totaled. Had to re-wire most things. The original STOCK HR Niss. muffler was full of water & sand. It was replaced with a DE muffler which chocked my car, so a couple of days before Atco, I took it off. You should have come over. I let people look under the hood, car, inside, outside & upside down
What class were you in, never mind, saw GTR-Gunmetal
? Car? Next time say hi.

Will do Andre! I rolled down with the Rad guys. Racing gtr class for 1000 ft only able to pull a 9.4 @ 112 with a 1.72 0-60. Not able to get to final 8... Some crazy gtrs were out in force. Was knocking bad with the OTS Cobb beta tune for 17psi. I guess custom tune is next for me.
thanks we should do another cruise or meet one day. i'll pm you my number.
