Default installing my exhaust this weekend.

any tips? i have an 06. i'll be installing the aam competition single. just wondering if theres anything i should know beforehand. it seems pretty straight forward.

btw if this should go in the exhaust section let me know.

Very easy, one tip tho, use wd40 on hangers to take them off the rubbers to safe some time and efford.

Just as the above post said, wd40 on the hangers makes life so much easier. Also, PB Blaster on the exhaust bolts make them alot easier to break them loose. The longer you wait the better.

Make sure the car is COMPLETELY cool, and be prepared for knuckle busters. Investing in knuckle padded mechanic gloves was well worth it.

thank you both. i've got wd40 on hand so i'll be using that. as for the new gaskets that came with the exhaust; will taking the old ones off show which way the rounded side should face?
