I have had my car there several times. Couldn't figure out what is causing my tracking issue. It is probably bushing or that I don't have front control arms.

Friend that did my powder coating finish making my intercooler brackets. After he grinds them down, he will be coating them powder black to match the rest. The boost things are getting very serious

Looking good... I have those red welding magnets... Mine are on my fridge because I haven't actually used my welder in years.. Those ones look like they get frequent use.

T minus 3 weeks correct? A lot going to happen very quick. You'll be done with boost before I finish vinyl (if I continue )

Wow huh, no playing around. What kind of numbers are you seeing with that setup? Where did you tune when you were still on uprev?

Yea 3 weeks. Things are happening quickly. I just ordered the very last bit of stuff I need and vince sent me my base tune today. And I'm strongly considering doing a wrap after boost rather than fix my paint. If I go that route I will be convincing you to come over and help show me things you have learned

Im sure they do. My friend that made them is an intern at Eastwood so he does quite a bit of custom work to his car and others

That's awesome! And yeah, I'll definitely be able to at least show some tips and tricks. Yours would turn out better than mine just because of it being my second time through it. I can be convinced with a boosted ride once its done Good luck!

Only thing stopping me from vinyl is the engine bay... What do you do there? Wrap under the fenders and choose a color that matches well?

What do you guys think? I have a g37x and the 7AT is killing me. I miss having a manual. This g35 has 126k but looks well maintained. I would be saving money in selling mine and purchasing this. Just not sure if the reliability would be strong enough?

My Z sits winters and has a lot of things I need to pour money into in order to get it right. Suspension, window motors, other smaller stuff, that adds up.

Partially why I think I would with a pure white. I never liked that the PPW color is a creamy-brownish shade and have always preferred an ice white. So making that switch would mean all door jambs, engine bay, etc. would all match pretty well

Theres always an unknown in buying a used car. Every car I have ever bought is used so Im not against it, but there are always unknowns. If you bought that g35 and some unforeseen issue occurred, it could turn that money saving idea into a money depleting problem.

I don't think I could live with a wrapped car, way too many loose ends... It would keep me up at night.

Revup? Questionable... I'd stick with an '04.5 with the DE and CD009 for reliability. Vented catch can and you're golden.

Yeah, I hear that. I am very hesitant, but it would be great if it worked out. Little to no car payment and not much of a downgrade. I ultimately want either a 6MT Chevy SS sedan Daily driver or an older C5 vette as a second car.

I don't think it would really be much of an issue, there is just a right way and wrong way to do it. Its one place to not cut corners.

Is it an awd g35x or just rear wheel? Always taking a chance, I would probably just find a reliable awd beater car and drive the z every day that's nice... Whatever money you save im sure the z can absorb...

On the other hand it would be hard to let the G37x go because if I had one im pretty sure the wifey would just take it over as her car.

It's a rwd sport with the 6 speed, which is what enticed me. HR motors are supposed to be pretty bulletproof. Figured I could grab this for under 10k sell mine, get a few G's and either put that into this payment/loan so I essentially will have paid it off in under a year, vs. my current payment of 300/mo and have something fun to drive each day.

Eventually, I want a C5 vette or something with an LS motor, ha ha.
