Anybody else see this? This is in Bridgewater, NJ on route 22 west ...


This is not something you see everyday ... on the way to work today, at around 7:30 am, I see cop lights flashing on the exit ramp in Bridgewater, New Jersey. The speed limit on this exit ramp is 25 mph, and there are a few large sweeping curves in it. As I go around the first curve, I see a yellow Mitsu Evolution halfway on a flat bed over the curb in the grass ... laying on top of a 30 ft tall street lamp that he apparrantly hit. Light damage, didn't look too serious. Saw a teenager talking to the cops, probably about the "groundhog" that jumped in front of him. So big deal, dumb teen drives too fast and skids off the road, probably happens a lot. I couldnt believe what I saw next to the Evo ... a Daytona Blue 350Z! Uh oh ... no visible damage to the Z but it was halfway on the road, halfway on the curb/grass. Wow! A race between a Z and an Evo turns into a disaster! Well, I'm not positive they were racing, but I can put two and two together. Pretty obvious what those morons were doing. First of all, who races at 7:30 AM in rush hour traffic?? I'm practically sleeping while driving at that time! That jerk in the Z is why my insurance is so high here in Jersey. Thanks!!!!! By the way, if it wasn't 7:30 am and if i wasn't late from work, I would have taken shots with my digital cam/camcorder I keep in my car. I have it there for once in a lifetime shots! An Evo crashing into a Z is probably close to once in a lifetime ...

 

I pass near that exit ramp every day when I drive up and down 287. That is not a turn that anyone should be racing on. It just goes to show you can see anything happen these days.

 

Wow, I take that way to work everyday. Didn't get it till 9 yesturday so I must of just missed it. And yes, no one should be racing in that area, especially with all the traffic.
