I'm planning on going, just to check it out. But July 30th is to early to call at this point.

I'd go, but I don't think my Z is auto show caliber, so it would be just me

Would you like to tell us why it was the biggest mistake you ever made? If not it's cool too, I just wonder...

first off, $20 to go and you'll see once you get in that it wasn't worth $20... maybe $5, tops.

no one is over 20 years old... so prepare for the attitude problems. prepare for ricey cars built by minimum wage students. these are people who cant get into a club, so they go to HIN.

it's nothing like a SEMA show. what vendors show up are not selling quality parts. APC runs the show.

ANKLE BITERS. there's a ton of local "models" who shouldnt be allowed to wear any less than a full length skirt parading around, looking like 20lbs of pork in a 3lb sausage casing. every teenager will be biting her ankles as if they have never seen a set of cans, pushing you away from a display you MIGHT want to get a closer look of.

jealous kids. prepare for your ride to acquire door dings, key marks, and/or foot prints. people will destroy your **** if it's better than theirs.

no food/drink.

if you get in, it'll be hard to get out during peak hours without stepping on some "gangsta". if you're not "gangsta", you will be kicked out for fighting if you defend yourself... the staff are "gangstas" too.

the cars are anything you can see and get more info about in a magazine anyways.

parking lot car accidents. like a pack of rabid children after viewing The Fast and the Furious, they will all think they are "living their lives a quarter mile at a time" and will be doing uncontrolled burnouts on the way in or out. i've seen tens of cars get hit by idiots with < 2 years of licensed driving at these shows.

you will see 1 Supra, 1 350Z, 1 300Z, 1 FD RX-7, and a shitload of hondas.

if you want a worthwhile show that piques your interest in performance with other people interested in the same thing and talk to vendors who are also like you, go hit up SEMA in Las Vegas, the IAS, Tokyo Auto Salon (if you can afford it), or check out a Z Car Club Association meet... ZCCW.org for Washingtonians.

but if you're a Honda convert, this show may be for you...
