out of curiosity... how does the tire pressure system work on the z, and is there anything i should be aware of if i was get aftermarket wheels?

Search for TPS. There's lots of existing threads on this.

 

The TPS system on the Z is mounted to the valve stem. Because of this, some rims can't fit them properly.

I would pick a couple rims you want and then ask if the TPS will work with them. Chances are, someone has already checked into it.

The other option is to get the metal bands and strap them to the rim.

My Gram Lights work fine with the valve stem TPS system...it was just a matter of switching them over. Make sure you go somewhere that know's what they're doing.....they're fairly easy to damage if they screw up.
