Default Who plans on modding?

Just curious what the local folks are thinking.

Who plans on leaving their car stock? Who plans on doing mods, if so, what mods and what is your goal?

Generally, I'm a fan of tasteful body kits (that's subjective to personal opinion, though!). Ones that don't mess up the lines of the car or aren't too aggressive.

The exception to that rule for me are the extreme AB Flug body kits (i.e., the S900 Supra kit or that new Z kit they're working on). I kind of liked the Z kit that someone posted pics of, but I need to see the finished car first!

I'll probably get some larger wheels (19") if I can find some nice, light-weight ones.

Other than that, I'll be getting a new exhaust to give the car a deeper, throatier sound and probably try to get the engine output to around 350HP. I'm not sure whether I'll be going N/A or FI, yet. Probably N/A if I can (always nice having a reliable engine).

My VIN no. tells me I shouldn't mod much, and make things reversible.

As such, my only plans have been to add an earthing kit, and build a custom, removable enclosure for a sub to be placed in the stock location behind a factory grille.

Only after my factory and extended Nissan warranty expire, will I think of performing major engine modifications and bolt-ons, and essentially turn the car into a race-ready version. Even still, my VIN says, "no mas, no mas."

I have the Nismo S-tune suspension on order, along with the Nismo side skirts and the LM-GT4 wheels. Should ship next week.

Not sure what I'll do after that, but StopTech brakes seem the next logical step since I plan on doing some AutoX next spring...

SWEET. I've been really curious to how that is on the car. I can't wait to see how you like it.

Yeah, so this is one of the reasons I'm waiting for a 2004 Z. I don't want to be the early adopter (this time) and I want to see how everything pans out in the aftermarket.

If things go the way I hope, I'll be looking at a 2004 w/:

for sure:
*supercharger
*Nismo S-tune suspension
*stereo!!

maybe:
*exhaust (depending on synergy w/ supercharger)
*supercharger upgrades (intercooler, pullies, ??)
*19" wheels (I'd love some big HRE's, but it's go fast toys first)

I already have wheels and tires , have changed out speakers in stock locations and I am doing the R&D work for H&R Springs on a suspension setup for the car. I am wanting to get a sub box setup for the stock location to go behind a stock grill then go multi-channel amp.

Hey, I am new here so I don't know anybody. I have a Chrome Silver Touring Z. I just put on some wheels (19's front - 20's rear). I just ordered a set of Eibach springs (should be here in a week or so). Injen intake and side markers (next week). Then on to the stereo next, all Infinity (components front - coax back - 10 in the stock location after I make a box). Now I am mod poor! I would like to do a exhaust and camber plates. That should just about finish off my wifes dailey driver (she wants me dead).

The only mods I see on the horizon for me are:

1) Gutting the whole audio system, replacing with new HU, amp, sub, speakers.

2) Putting in an LCD screen and portable DVD player (to be honest mostly for novelty value)

3) Grounding Kit

4) Cloth air filter

In the future probably at least 1 year away I can see:

1) New wheels
2) New exhaust
3) Cold Air Intake
4) Aftermarket 2-tone leather seats
5) some kind of forced induction
