Speeding Ticket!! Escort 8500!
Hello fellow members,
Here is my story. I bought the Passport 8500 and it is working like a charm. This little gadget has worked well against radar; also I changed the settings so that it ignores X-band so it works even better.
Well After month, I get my first speeding ticket today. I was caught by Laser, which my passport did detect. I was able to slow down to 75 (speed limit was 60) instead of the 80+ I was doing. I was speeding so ahh well, but I am wondering has anyone had any experience with the Escort Shifter ZR3 with the Passport 8500. I am satisfied with the radar abilities, but I need something to help me against Laser or LIDAR.
If anyone has used the Shifter and it has helped or not helped detecting laser please drop a line or two to say what happened.
Also any mounting tips on the 350z would be awesome. I am thinking about buying one tonight.
P.S. I live in the Seattle area and need to get out of this ticket. It was in Whatcom County…any ideals or lawyer suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.
