thought it might be easier to recognize eachother on the road if everyone posted a pic of their cars. i see like 4 Z/G's a day and some are modified. saw one the other day in tigard that was bronze and black and had the ing's kit on it i think. was curious if it was a forum member or not. sounded loud as hell, nice car though. mine is my sig pic.

Stock ride height tho. It's low enough as is -- I have trouble negotiating some driveways already.
Rahtok, I'll match your Mt. St. Helen's pic w/ one of my own.

I took the day off and went for the wildest ride of my life. There was no one there for the entire run up to the closed gate for JRO, 20+ miles of mountain road, both ways, and it felt like I owned it all.
This is the closest you can get by road in the winter time. Just a mile or 2 shy of JRO.

So, no ones around up at JRO this time of year. We may have to go back up there and get a lot more aggressive this time. Maybe a communications set up with road blocks for sum real top speed run >150mph, Yea.

From the gate at the end of 504 I was tearing it up for about 15-20 straight. It was unbelievable. I was so high off of the adreniline rush that I was shaking for 'bout 1/2 hour until I got onto I-5 and I had a grin from ear-to-ear the entire ride back home.
Every personal record that I mentally keep track of was broken that day. Shattered! It was the most unbelievable drive (if you could call it that) I'd ever taken. I did not hit the magical 155 mark, but as I approched those speeds tunnel vision would set in and I was forced to slow down so that the next turn would register in my vision. A person w/ more experience running at that speed would have been able to reach it on several areas along the road. Yes, brake fade was a serious concern since I have the non-Brembo setup. On 2 occasions I felt it and had to be concious of it.
W/ all that said: It wasn't the brightest thing in the world to do. Had something happened I would have been dozens of miles away from the nearest help, no cell phone service and I doubt anyone would ever go up there this time of year. I could've been SOL in a big way.
150mph+ means it all over before you know it. It might take longer for them to find the body but if the people found your body within seconds you are still just as dead!
High speed driving is just like auto-x, look ahead a long ways.
It's awful cold for my tires but if the weather is as warm as today it would be good.

Ahem. Remember this is a public forum, and Google knows all. That being said, as long as we don't have a few crazies doing double yellow passings on blind corners threatening to take out motorcycles, I'm up for it again.
